David Kunsberg had a perfect prediction in the weekly pace race held on the Lower Water Canyon Trail by estimating a time of 27:58 and finishing the race at that time.  Other accurate predictors were:  Zeke Wilmot at 7 seconds off; Peter McNiff with a 11 second differential; Ryan Smeltzer recording a 15 second difference as well as being the top finisher in the 3 mile distance at 25:06; and Chris Michel at 20 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course 11 year old Lily Nolan was the best finisher with a time of 12:22 and the first male finisher was 5 year old Edwin Bujack at 13:32.

The first female finisher in the 3 mile distance was Madeline Harms recording a 29:23.

Next week’s race will be the last race of the 2023 season and will be held on October 3rd, 2023 at 6:00 PM starting at the Canyon Rim Trailhead on East Road (NM State Route # 502) across from the Los Alamos Co-Op Cooperative Market.  1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
