STEAM Lab Drop-ins

Our drop-in hours are intended to give kids and adults of all ages an opportunity to dabble and explore. With loads of Lego, train track, Lincoln Logs, craft supplies, robots, snap circuits, board games, magnatiles, and more we strive to facilitate a love of exploration.

We allow drop-offs on Tuesdays for children 5+ who can independently use the bathroom and who will not try to leave on their own. There is no structured programming, but an adult is on hand if they need help. On Saturdays, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesdays

Time: 1:00 – 3:00
Cost:
* with Adult: $7/child, $10/family
* drop-off: $12/first child, $6/sibling

Wednesdays

Time: 9:30 – 11:30
Cost:

Saturdays

Time: 11:00 – 2:00
Cost: $7/child, $12/family

Sundays (Parent Board Game Morning with Samizdat Bookstore)

Time: 10:00 – 12:00

Covid Policies

At this time we will be requiring masks for all adults and children able to mask when weekly cases are above 200 per capita (CDC Yellow) when they are in our play areas. As winter comes and we need to close our doors, these numbers may shift. We understand that many bookstore patrons may be unmasked, but we find it extremely unlikely that they will be in close proximity to playing children and would like to continue being inclusive to the medically fragile and disabled community.
